TapeWare is now Yosemite Backup Standard

Backup and restore performance for Yosemite Backup has been improved thanks to improvements such as Self Tuning Logic™ (STL) that optimizes the number of data streams and target devices for both backup and restore operations.

Data volumes continue to increase and backup windows continue to shrink. Backup to disk has become the preferred target for backup because of the higher performance qualities. Yosemite Backup was one of the first solutions to provide backup to disk support and continues to lead the way with support for up to 8 terabytes (TB) of backup to disk capacity and expandable to 32TB.

The optional D2D2Ne (Disk-to-Disk-to-Any) is the industry's only disk backup solution that supports a multi-hierarchy backup methodology that allows IT organizations to implement an automated approach to disk-based backup that takes care of space management and moves or copies data between disk, tape, and optical storage based on admin-defined policies.
