Overview:
Positions are currently open for QA Testers, both permanent and intern. QA Testers work with the QA team in testing Yosemite Technologies’ software products as
well as certifying YT software with a variety of 3rd party hardware and software. QA Testers assist our Support team by working directly with customers to resolve
technical issues related to the use of our software products. Technical knowledge and customer service skills are desired.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Test Yosemite Technologies’ software products: Yosemite Backup and FileKeeper.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with our software products
- Maintain status of open items and follow-thru to resolution
- Work closely with both customers and internal staff on technical issues
Position Qualifications:
- Broad understanding of MS Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista; NetWare, Linux, and SCSI environments, including MS SQL and Exchange
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 1+ years MS Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista; NetWare, Linux experience or equivalent classroom training
- 1+ years MS Exchange Server administrator experience or classroom training
- Customer support, training or consulting experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology discipline, or equivalent work experience desirable
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CNE or equivalent experience desirable
