Client Server

Add Additional Servers to Your Storage Management Domain

The Yosemite Backup Client Server is the third of the three primary components that make up the Yosemite Backup modular architecture and enable customers to efficiently manage and protect server data as part of your overall data protection strategy. By adding a Client Server to the Yosemite Backup Domain, backup administrators can create and manage backup and recovery tasks from a centralized console and leverage existing storage device investments by connecting the Client Server to a centrally-managed Media Server.
The Client Server license allows administrators to add a remote Windows, NetWare, or Linux-based server to the Backup Domain depending on their configuration.
Please Note: Yosemite Backup Client Server must be connected to an existing Yosemite Backup Master Server and will not function as a standalone backup server or support locally-attached archiving devices.
NEW! Yosemite Backup Unlimited bundle users are free to deploy and protect unlimited Client Servers for Windows, NetWare, Linux or all platforms depending upon the Unlimited Server Bundle purchased.
