IT Technician position available
Overview:
Yosemite Technologies, Inc. has a current opening for an IT Technician to join our IT team. The position will provide exposure to an Enterprise-class network and many different technologies offering an invaluable experience for the right person. The skill-set, schedule and overall employability of the candidates will be factored into the final determination. Both contractor and employee candidates will be considered. This position is based in Fresno, CA.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of the physical network (wires, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Data Management - Access control to file shares; Backup; Archiving and organization
- End User Support and Training
- Windows 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista
- MS Office 2003/2007
- FTP (FileZilla)
- Web IE / Firefox
- Cisco VPN Client
- McAfee Virus Scanner
- Zip (7 Zip)
- Backup (FileKeeper / Yosemite Backup)
- CD Mastering (Nero 7)
- MS Project
- MS Visio
- Source control and bug tracking (Seapine SCP / TTPro)
- MS CRM
- MS Great Plains Dynamics
- MS SharePoint
- Shoretel VoIP system
- MS Visual Studio
Position Qualifications:
- Experience in as many of the above Applications as possible
- Cisco/Microsoft Certifications: MCP/MCSA/MCSE, CCNA, etc.
- A.S. degree or greater in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in an IT related customer support role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
